Spring Registration Now Open for Youth Lacrosse

Spring Lacrosse
Spring is the prime season for our youth club for boys & girls in grades K-6.  The season runs for approximately 2 months with practices beginning as soon as the fields are ready (early-mid April).  Practices are held on the Shen campus – Girls next to Koda and Boys across from Skano/Tesago.

Round Robin Games typically begin the first Saturday in May and run every Saturday until June 11 excluding Memorial Day weekend.  For round robins, our teams will travel to another local school where they’ll play 2-4 games against different local clubs.

Shen Youth Lacrosse Club welcomes players of all abilities for our spring season from complete beginners to those with several years experience.  Kids will receive quality instruction from a variety of coaches in a fun and fast paced environment.  We encourage any children residing in within the Shen School boundaries interested in trying lacrosse to come give it a shot this spring

As the Shenedehowa Lacrosse community (Players, Parents, Volunteers, Coaches and Board of Directors) we want to always work to respect the ROOTS of the game:

  • RULES: We refuse to bend/break the rules to win.
  • OPPONENTS: Value and recognize that a worthy opponent brings out our best, and we take a “fierce and friendly” attitude into competition.
  • OFFICIALS: We respect officials even when we disagree with them.
  • TEAMMATES: We never do anything to embarrass our team (on or off the field). We fully support and encourage all teams.
  • SELF: We live up to our standards of honoring the Game, even when others don’t.
